So I will be very vague because I went in knowing nothing at all and honestly this story needs to be read with minimal information.

I am rooting like hell for Ellen. I think she is incredible and really I just want her to burn every man who has wronged her to the ground. I need to see her destroy some men, okay? Just let me have this. I think she was too conditioned by her trauma and it’ll take a long time for her to come out of this. I have full faith in her though.

I have extreme mixed feelings about Mischa. I understand his need for revenge, I even understand his feral nature. But none of that excuses his actions right now. I do see glimpses of humanity and guilt inside of him and I’m holding out hope for that.

This story has been written with incredible finesse. I have always admired Lana’s writing. Her books are like psychological warfare and they scare and excite me to no end.
