MACALISTER, THE MAN THAT YOU ARE TODAY !!!
I was insanely intrigued by his character in the first book then he got WEIRD but I still wanted to see where his story went. His redemption started by the end of book 3 and I just knew his story was going to be unparalleled.
In this story we get to see a deeper, emotional side to Mac and I am so grateful for it. It was such a relief to see that he isn’t evil incarnate. He just needs to be loved. Sophia was his perfect counterpart and I adore the way she challenged and complemented him.
Sophia is the kind of person that scares me but I’m also so in awe of her that I’m halfway in love with her. I almost thought that she was a secret agent the way she threw off Mac. WHAT A QUEEN!
This story was hot, passionate while being emotional at the same time. I think this might be my favourite in the series. The Hale family is finally healing from their tumultuous past and I am so damn happy for them. There is just one story left in this world and I CANT’T WAIT FOR IT!!!
