When I say I am obsessed with CoraLee June’s writing, I mean I am really close to camping outside her house so I can be in presence of her genius.
I will not talk about the plot at all because I feel it’s best to go in blind and then let it hurt you as a whole.
Hunter and Roe are such complex characters. On the surface it feels like the story is about a wild girl and her stalker. But oh man is story touches your heart in ways you CANNOT IMAGINE!! With every detail that was revealed about either of them, my heart hurt more and more. I wanted to save both of them so that they could have an HEA ASAP.
But of course, Cora is not that generous. We had the cliffhanger and now I must wait in pain for the next book.
This story is just so good and delicious and a little bit dark. My fave part is Roe because she is one bamf and I love her with all my heart. I can’t wait to see her ruin lives.
