So that was mind blowing??

I knew this book was going to be a different kind of trip and boy was I right.

We get to see the in depth workings of Damir Ravinkar, who was honestly lowkey unhinged in CtD. I’ll be honest, I liked him but didn’t know that I’d love madly in love with him by the end of LoL. I mean he is a ruthless killer without any doubt but he is also secretly a teddy bear? I do not know how Brianna Hale perfected that duality but she did and my heart can’t take it.

Bethany is my favourite. Sure she is freaky and her kinks scare me a little but she stood neck to neck with Damir and was absolutely his match. I have so much respect for her because she finessed him so hard but she did it in a way that made him fall in love with her. WE STAN A FREAKY QUEEN!!!

This story was thrilling from the start and 100% fast paced. The way Damir just walks through life leaves me scared and in awe of his audacity. The thing I love most about this story is that it pushes a LOT of boundaries sexually and psychologically without being overbearing at all.

Brianna Hale is a master at writing beautiful, broken and complex characters who make a permanent home in your heart within a few pages. The last 10% of this book made my heart the happiest of places.
