I cannot believe none of you forced me to read Kerrigan before. Where are the real friends?!?
I wasn’t able to put this book down or even tear my eyes away for a hot minute because I needed to know everything about this story. I needed Piers and Alexandra to get to their HEA before I could sleep in peace. So I was up till 4am waiting for them to shout in each others face that they love one another. It was absolutely worth it.
I am insanely, madly, inappropriately and undoubtedly in love with Lady Alexandra. I would go to war for this woman no questions asked. I’m honestly so proud of her and the amount of respect I have for her is insurmountable. I didn’t know it was possible to love a character this much. The way she overcome the horrendous things that happen to her is insanely inspiring.
Piers is my favourite grump in the history of favourite grumps. I am in awe of this man because he is UNREAL not because he’s fictional but because I don’t think they even write fictional men like him anymore. I’d let him ruin my life anyday anytime. His love for Alex made my heart swell up to five times its size and I can’t even deal with this man anymore. A GRUMP WE STAN!!!
This story was all kinds of amazing. It was emotional, thrilling, passionate and so so beautiful. I actually had tears running down my face when Piers found the real reason behind Alex’s past. That part absolutely broke my heart. But Kerrigan made it all better. She knows how to give a blow and then soothe it too. Also, 10/10 for the mysterious blackmailers. That was insane.
I am highly invested in The Red Rogues now. I need to know their stories because I feel as if they’ve become an essential part of my life. I adore their friendship so much. These women deserve kickass lives and by GOD I’ll watch them get to it.
