Brianna Hale knows how to make you fall in love with not just the characters along with the story. She just hits all of the right buttons and you can’t help but adore every word she writes.
I know we all loved Stian and I adored the kind of man he was. I love how he was always there for Lacey and didn’t try to ‘solve’ everything for her.
But I am going to talk about Lacey more than Stian.
It wasn’t easy to read Lacey’s story and I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t have been easy for Brianna to write it either. My heart hurt for Lacey yet I knew this was that one journey that she had to complete herself. I was so so happy that Bri gave her such a beautiful story arc. I love that Lacey found, in Stian, a support system rather than the solution to all her problems. Her development, the way her issues are highlighted and then confronted, the way she learns to love herself; all of it was a beautiful occurring.
Bri’s heroines are the most favorite part of her stories. I fall in love with all of those queens. There is just so much to learn from her stories and I am so happy I get to read and cherish them.
