Clementine lost her memory following a vicious attack. Now she is reliant on others to help her fill in the blanks. One of them happens to be her ex, Ed a tattoo artist who seems to hate her. But he might be the only one who could give her real answers.

Ed wants nothing to do with Clementine, the woman who broke his heart. But when she stumbles in his tattoo shop with seemingly no memory of them, he is tempted to help her out. The more time he spends with her the more he realizes why they fell in love.

Getting together again could be the biggest mistake for them. Or it could the only thing that saves them.

This was such a refreshing heart pumping story. I love a second chance romance. Add mystery and thrill to it, I’m 100% sold.

I adore Clem. Yes she made a mistake in the past but she paid for it in spades. I just love her spirit for getting her life back together. Also, she was amazingly funny at times. I was rooting for her and I desperately wanted her to have the HEA she truly deserved.

Ed, my broody tattooed baby! I have to love his surlyness and curt attitude. My man was just trying to prevent another heartbreak. But he is too pure and sweet. I love that he helped Clem after what happened between them. Any other person would have flat out refused. But not our Ed. I adore this man.

I kind of saw the twist coming but still I was always on the edge trying to find out the exact reasons why Clem was attacked so viciously. It was a nice twist and kept me entirely engaged in the book.

Reading Ed and Clem fall in love all over again was such a treat. It’s not easy to give a couple a second chance and do it complete justice. But Kylie Scott managed it in spades.

4.5 Stars!

From New York Times bestselling author Kylie Scott comes an irresistible new romance.

When a vicious attack leaves 25-year-old Clementine Johns with no memory, she’s forced to start over. Now she has to figure out who she was and why she made the choices she did – which includes leaving the supposed love of her life, tattoo artist Ed Larsen, only a month before.

Ed can hardly believe it when his ex shows up at his tattoo parlor with no memory of their past, asking about the breakup that nearly destroyed him. The last thing he needs is more heartache, but he can’t seem to let her go again. Should they walk away for good, or does their love deserve a repeat performance?
