I was hella intrigued by the blurb and also because this is Brianna Hale and I’d read anything she writes. The story was more amazing that I could have even imagined. I can totally see the whole Cavelieri Della Morte Universe being as brilliant as this story.
It’s a modern take on King Arthur and his Knights but all of them are murder daddies and I think Geraint might be my favourite murder daddy out of all. I have to say I got hot whenever he turned stabby and I was waiting for him to go off on his enemies.
Branwen might be a naive little girl but she is as brave as they come. I adore her and kinky little ways.
This story was exciting from start to end. It was pretty straight forward in the way that we knew what was going to happen. But I just fell in love with the way Brianna told the story. It was poetic, dark, sultry and so damn beautiful.
