I can’t even begin to explain how much I love and adore Leo. Like I would hurt anyone who brings him pain and yes that is after fully knowing that he is fictional. I think Leo is my favourite Lauren Blakely character bar none. I was hurting for him, with him but I was also rooting so hard for his happy ever after. If there is someone who deserves to be with the love of his life, it’s Leo. He is such a pure soul in this cruel cruel World and I want to protect him AT ALL COSTS. ( unrelated but how can I get Leo for my birthday? It’s kinda important for my life. )
Lulu is everything I aspire to be as a woman. She is strong but never closed off, she knows what she wants from life and knows never to back down from her dreams. Sis gave EVERYTHING to make her relationship work but knew to put herself first and back out when it turned toxic. If I could give her a standing ovation, I would. I admire Lauren Blakely so hard for giving me a heroine I love and admire to pieces.
This story was so angst and heart breaking at times because it’s not easy to read about unrequited love especially when it’s a character you are calling madly in love with. But I had faith and I got the brilliant story and mind blowing HEA that I wanted for my Leo.
