This book was such a pleasant surprise I’m still smiling.
Charlie is a simple girl who always dreamt of having her own bakery and finally she’s achieved it. She was happy and content in her quiet peaceful life. Then Brandon came barreling into her life with his dirty smirks and gorgeous tattoos and she’s left flustered and speechless.
Brandon has rarely ever had a solid relationship. Most of his encounters with women end with a few hook ups. Then he meets the shy and adorable Charlie and his world is upended. She is not his type but that doesn’t stop him for going crazy about her more and more as days pass.

Y’all this was my first ever Holly Renee book and man am I obsessed with her.
This story was cute af and the angst. THE ANGST RUINED ME AND THE SAVED ME!
I related to Charlie so much so much. I adore her with her nervous actions, her flustered smiles and her badass determination. She is so easy to love and this story was 10 times sweeter because of her.
Brandon, my boo!!! I loved his little caveman routine. That was so hot man. But I also really respect him because he knew how to treat Charlie right, he knows how utterly amazing she is. I swooned so hard at his love for her. He is just such a solid freaking man.
I really enjoyed reading this book and this story flowed like a dream. It was probably one of the sweetest books I’ve read and believe me Holly Renee knows how to mix that sweet with the perfect amount of angst. I have become a fan!
