I have been craving Tanner’s book since I read The Darkest Sunset Duet and I knew his love was going to be of an epic sort.
Rita was ten shades of messed up. She had so many issues to waddle through and it really didn’t help that her ex was a dunghole of epic proportions but man she handled everything with utter badassery. I know she made some tiny mistakes with Tanner but she went through hell so she is excused.
Tanner, my boo thang, my one true love!!! If anyone deserves to live happily forever it’s this man. I was constantly cheering for him and stg at one point I was like bb come out of the book and I’ll love you. He is so amazing and pure and sweet and hot I CRY. I adore the way he loves, I admire the way he fought through all the shit in his life. I just plain love him madly.
I am a tad bit disappointed that this book didn’t hurt my soul and y’all don’t know how much I want that from Aly’s books. This story is off the charts amazing, I just needed a bit more time to invest in Tanner and Rita’s love.
