Girl meets boy. Girl and boy become friends. Girl and boy fall in love and live happily ever after.
If only life was that easy.
Samantha DaSilva is a simple girl. She was happy working at her dad’s tattoo shop and occasionally wishing that her childhood arch-nemesis, Scott is just constantly ruining his virgin life. Suddenly her dad vanishes, leaving a failing business and everything else in her name. As if that wasn’t enough, Scott Sanderson is back for good looking like a GQ model. Life is utterly and terribly unfair.
Scott has been in love with Sam since he was a wee kid. It didn’t matter that she hated him and probably hates him more now. Yeah it blew up in his face when he was a teenager and yes he had to move to a different country to get over the humiliation but a little shame is nothing. Now he’s back and still insanely attracted to her. Life is a cruel unforgiving bitch.
Can Sam and Scott move over the mistakes of their past? Is their long sweltering attraction meant to last forever or is it only good enough for one night of kinkfest? Did Scott Sanderson finally lose his virginity?
I would like to preface by saying that as soon as I finished this book I was wandering all around my home trying to come to terms with the fact that Scott Sanderson is fictional and I’ll never be able to actually meet him, slap his ass or scream in his face that I absolutely adore him.
Sam is definitely one of the most interesting characters I have ever read. Yes she has this habit of pranking first and talking about your feelings out later and yes it annoyed me a little but damn SHE’S A BADASS. She is out there proudly living her life and I LOVE THAT. Honestly, her teenage pranks were hilarious and I might have laugh cried at them, I just wished she hadn’t carried on that as an adult. But, she is such a talented person who actually grows and understands the need to be a grown up. I love her dynamics with her sisters. It’s real, raw and it made my heart so damn happy.
Scott, my sweet filthy marshmallow!!! I am insanely in love with Scott’s character and I do not know how to get over it. He is just such a pure precious kinky soul that needs to be protected from this cruel world. His love and adoration for Sam made me swoon like a goshdarn loon. The way he talked about Sam, his desperation for her, all of it made my heart ache in the best possible way. There aren’t enough words to express how much love and respect and insanity I have for this man. He deserves all the happiness in this Universe and I wish I could just hug him once.
Eve Dangerfield is rude and unfair because how dare she write such an amazing story and ruin my life?? She has definitely become one of my favourite authors. Everything that I have read of hers has completely blown me away with it’s sheer brilliance. I cannot wait to see her spinning more gorgeous tales.

Synopsis:
As a teenager, Samantha DaSilva had two interests: running wild and messing with her posh neighbour. The neighbour moved away—the coward—but the wild kept right on going. At least it did until her hippie father vanished, leaving her in charge of the family tattoo studio. As Sam struggles to keep the business afloat her childhood nemesis returns, taller, blonder and more offensively gorgeous than ever.
As a teenager, the wildest thing Scott Sanderson did was get a crush on Sam DaSilva. When that blew up in his face he moved to London to pursue realistic goals and girls who didn’t set fire to his underwear. After unexpected circumstances pull Scott back into Sam’s orbit, he’s shocked to discover he’s still in love with a woman who doesn’t own a phone. And who hasn’t forgiven a thing.
As Sam and Scott struggle to make sense of their mutual attraction, they confront some of life’s biggest questions—can you ever really get over the past? Is it better to be safe or sorry? Is a spanking adequate punishment for putting someone’s virginity on eBay?
