Caleb Burke is not an ordinary man. The things he’s witnessed, the ordeals he’s lived through have made him a shell of his former self; broken and dangerous. He cannot even get a good night’s sleep how will he ever provide for anyone. His love for Holly mist stay hidden no matter the cost.

Alexei Markov has been waiting a long time to get his shot at Holly. He knows he’ll be good to her, he ran away from dangerous people to prove just that. He also knows, Caleb is the only one that’ll fit in with them. He knows how to make it happen, he just has to be patient.

An unknown danger threatens the life of Holly and Caleb and Alexei band together to protect the women they love. 

This story was so damn good, I didn’t even want to put it down for a second. I was intrigued and invested from the first chapter and it went on till the end.

Alexei is so damn amazing, I get goosebumps just thinking about him. Here is a man who has known nothing but revenge and blood and pain for most of his life but he somehow found it in himself to love and cherish and protect. I can’t even deal with him talking because it was so adorable and whenever he messed up English I just used to get red and giggle. He’s one of my favourite characters ever.

Caleb is my poor broken kinky boo who just needed unconditional love. I wanted to hug him and tell him that he is loved EVERYDAY. I adore him for being ready to sacrifice the love of his life because he wanted to spare her the pain. He is too pure for this cruel world.

This story is action packed, mystery bound and so scorching hot that it will leave you breathless. I wanted more and more of these three and honestly wouldn’t have minded if there were a 100 pages more. It’s a little in the vein of Momento Mori and I love LOVE that. The entire dynamics of their relationship fascinated me to no end.
