All the while I was reading, my blood pressure was shooting of the roof and honestly I was rendered speechless after finishing the story.

This story is brilliant, consuming, haunting and beautiful beyond comprehension. I could never have guessed what actually happened. I am in utter awe of C.D. Reiss and her art. She has managed to create a story that will stay with me forever and ever and then some more.

This series is probably one of the best series I’ve ever read and I want more of it. It’s thrilling, thought provoking, dark and just absolutely decadent. I have never read a more elaborate and well thought out story. Sure in the beginning it felt as if it was missing all the important pieces but then things started to be revealed and everything clicked into place and my jaw was decorating the floor.
