Being in love with your best friend is not at all easy. But hiding this information from them for three years is even painful.
Ian and Sam have been in love with each other for ages but but have become pros at hiding their true feelings. Neither is aware of how the other feels until Ian has had enough and decides to be the not so nice guy in order to get the girl of his dreams.
Utterly confused and out of this World scared, Sam doesn’t know how to relate this new Ian to the guy whose been her nice best friend for years. Her only options are to run far far away or go with the flow and put her heart at at stake.
I feel so so good after reading this gorgeous book. There is something about a R.S. Grey book that fulfills everything inside of your heart with rainbows and happiness. I have been lacking on reading her books but I seized the day with NOT SO NICE GUY and I’m a bundle of joy.
Ian and Sam are quite possibly the quirkiest adorable couple I’ve ever read. Their chemistry is no doubt hot and sweltering. I was rooting for them from the first page and when they finally got together, it was such a damn relief.
Their love story is the perfect kind of RomCom you could ask for. I felt as if I was watching the latest romcom movie on Netflix and having the time of my life. My heart is just so damn happy that I can’t even contain myself anymore.

“Oh my god. Who is that?”
I get asked this question a lot.
“Oh him?” I reply. “That’s just Ian.”
Just Ian is the biggest understatement of the century. Just the Mona Lisa. Just the Taj Mahal. Just Ian, with his boring ol’ washboard abs and dime-a-dozen dimpled smile.
Just Ian is…just my best friend.
We’re extremely close, stuck so deep inside a Jim-and-Pam-style friendzone everyone at work assumes we’re a couple—that is until one day, word spreads through the teacher’s lounge that he’s single. Fair game. Suddenly, it’s open season on Ian.
He should be reveling in all the newfound attention, but to our mutual surprise, the only attention he seems to want is mine.
He’s turning our formerly innocent nightly chats into X-rated phone calls. Our playful banter sports a new, dangerous edge.
I want to assume he’s playing a prank on me, just pushing my buttons like always—but when Ian lifts me onto the desk in my classroom and slides his hands up my skirt, he doesn’t leave a lot of room for confusion.
I’m a little scared of things going south, of losing my best friend because I can’t keep my hands to myself. So, I’m just going to back away and not return this earth-shattering kiss—oh who am I kidding?!
Goodbye Ian, ol’ buddy, ol’ pal!
Helloooo mister not so nice guy.
