I feel like I am not capable enough to write this review!

Autumn Reynolds purged herself when she threw out her cheating boyfriend out of their flat. With this purge came her inability to give a shit about anything except whipped cream and making highly inappropriate comics in which her burly, hot landlord scored a leading role. She can never let him or anyone else see it. She only half succeeds in that endeavor.

Blake defines the word recluse. He hasn’t ventured out to where the people are in years and has no immediate plans to do so either. Then he reads his tenant, Autumn’s kinky comics about him and now all bets are off.

They make a pact to go on three days, built some trust and then have dirty, filthy, groundbreakingly kinky sex. There’s no way feeling would get involved and make all of this end badly. RIGHT?

Y’all do not understand how hot this book was. Like at one point, I closed the book, lied flat on my bed and just sobbed like a lunatic because I couldn’t handle how freaking scorching the book was. Then I had to grab some snacks and eat my feelings while I read this goddamn piece of art.

Autumn is quite possibly the most likeable character I’ve ever read. I adored her in the first chapter and by then end of the story I hardcore loved her. I admire her spirit and her drive so damn much. I also understood her struggles and the limbo she was in. Her character is so relateable, so lovable. I WANT HER AS MY BFF!

Alright now y’all brace yourself cause I’m gonna shout my love for Blake. THIS GODDAMN PRECIOUS GEM OF A MAN DESERVES ALL THE BEAUTIFUL THINGS IN THIS FUCKING WORLD AND NEEDS TO BE PROTECTED AT ALL COSTS. I really wasn’t ready for this character one bit. I cannot believe that a man like this exists in real life. Don’t get me wrong, he isn’t perfect. It’s the fact that this man has flaws but recognizes them and tries to work on them is what made me adore him. All the things that happened in the past and made him hate himself, made me want to climb this man and hug the shit out of him.

I laughed so hard I feel from my couch. I cried towards the end and made such a mess of myself. This book was such a journey and honestly I feel like I learnt a lot about myself. PETITION to make Tessa Bailey and Eve Dangerfield write at least fifteen more books together. MY HEART NEEDS IT and y’all lowkey owe me for making me cry.

I was provided with an ARC in exchange for an honest review

5 Stars!

Synopsis:
Secret aspiring comedian Autumn Reynolds is a girl gone…not wild exactly. More like lazy. Since her boyfriend abandoned her in New York City for a bunch of improv groupies she’s had two priorities; sucking the nitrous out of whipped cream cans and making sex comics about her mysterious landlord.

Blake hates people—and sunlight—with good reason. Imagine his surprise when he finds himself lusting after his upstairs tenant, a sunny, Australian people pleaser down on her luck. Turns out his ability to terrify with a single scowl comes with an advantage. Autumn seems to like it. A lot. As evidenced by the prisoner-captive comic Blake was never meant to see.

As they embark on a three-date arrangement the rules are clear; filthy, ground breaking sex, no feelings or commitment required. When chemistry is this strong, though, attachment follows. As Blake and Autumn attempt to negotiate their New York romance, their prior histories and secret dreams come to the foreground. How long can these polar opposites remain Captivated, when all signs point to disaster?
