Can I get an Amen for Court and most of all for RIN?????
Court is just like the statue of David that he loves. Cold, hard, distant with a fantabulous ass. He’s also Rin unfeeling jerk of a boss. Hid disapproving glares and taunt jaw make her want to prove herself more and more. But she’s too intimidated to speak up until she is blessed with the powers of a red lipstick.
Now, Court aims all his wolfish smiles at her and dare she say flirts with her. Maybe he’s on a mission to make her life hell. Maybe she’ll absolutely love it.
I think I lost important functioning brain cells while reading because of one Court. I freaking love assholes who can’t make up their mind or deal with their overwhelming feelings and COURT WAS THE BEST OF THEM ALL. God how I love him! I just want to hug this stupid giant teddy bear and give him all the love in the World. Also, his growly alpha side made me swoon so damn hard.
Rin, my beautiful sweet summer child! I loved loved loved her transformation. I cannot tell you how proud I am to have read a book which shows such amazing growth with incredible feminist characters. I AM LOVE!! Rin’s character and growth is why I love to read about strong female characters. She took back her power and made life her bitch. And the fact that she has equally badass friends just made me love this story more.
Rin and Court’s chemistry was off the charts hawt. *insert multiple flame emojis* From their first kiss to when they confess their love, I just wanted to cry at how perfect these two were and protect them from this cruel World.
Dudes, set aside your life and read this book. Staci’s stories always make my heart work overtime. She always makes me want more. And, I just want to keep reading Piece Of Work again and again till I can recite it by heart.

Marble isn’t the only thing that’s hard at this museum.
His body is as chiseled as Adonis. His lips are as sculpted as David. And his ego is the size of the Guggenheim.
You know the type—wolfish smile and the gravity of a black hole. The kind of man who sucks all the air from the room the second he enters it. My cocky boss thinks this internship was wasted on me, and he doesn’t hesitate to let me know.
But he’s wrong, and I’m going to prove it to him. If I can stay away from his devil lips, that is. Lips that cut me down and kiss me in the same breath, leaving me certain he’s on a mission to ruin my life.
And maybe my heart.
