Jake and Conor grew up together and fell in love. They vowed to be each other’s firsts in every way. But one night Conor is violated in the worst of ways while Jake is forced to watch. The incident sets their life on dangerous paths these people never could have imagined. Fate might have torn them apart but Jake knows Conor is his and he’ll do anything to bring her back to him.

I have so many feelings for this book but I cannot scream and shout and cry like I want to cause *spoilers*. This book has some of the most brutal scenes I’ve read and guys I’ve read all kinds of stuff. It’s brutal because it’s no hold barrels, it makes your heart hurt and it makes you feel the fiercest kind of pain. THAT IS WHAT I loved most about this book. If a book makes my heart lurch with pain, relief, grief and excitement that is the kind of book that I’ll always keep in my heart.

KNOTTED will forever be a special place in my dark soul because it left such a significant mark there that I can’t ever undo it. Not that I want to.

I admired Conor’s strength. I loved Jake’s resolve. I freaking adore Jarret and Lorne’s loyalty. The tact with which Pam Godwin handled such a delicate issue is awe inspiring. I just cannot get over how she channeled the right emotions through Conor as a victim and Jake as a witness.

I just cannot wait for more from this series because i know it’s going to be other-worldly good.
