Is there a greater adjective than being in awe? Because I am that right now.
Anna made a mistake that changed the course of her entire life. As much as she likes to pretend that she’s the only one affected by her choices, she knows that is not the case. She believes she deserves the hate, the nightmares and being lonely her entire life.
Wes’s mistakes made his life miserable. It didn’t matter that whatever he did was to save a loved one. When the time came he paid for his mistake in devastating ways. He believes he’ll never be worthy of love, acceptance and happiness.
Two souls who made mistakes. Two souls who believe they are unforgivable. Can they save each other ? And in the process save themselves?
I wasn’t prepared for this book. Not even in the slightest.
Anna is one of the strongest female leads I’ve ever read and I am in love with her. I admire her strength so much SO MUCH. What she went through and survived, it was quite possibly the hardest thing a person could go through and it was a miracle she didn’t turn absolutely mental. I just wanted to hug her all day and tell her nothing was her fault and that she is just a wee lass who deserves all the love in the World. *choking sobs*
Oh Wes! Oh my sweet summer child! I LOVE WES FROM NOW TILL ETERNITY. He was so shy and sweet and protective and just a pure solid good human being. I admire his character so much. Gawd, it takes so much courage to be the amazing kind of person Wes is. I feel genuinely happy to have read such a brilliant character. Oh and it also helps that his thoughts are just the most adorable form of dirty. OH MAN OH MAN!!
Not only is Isabel Love an amazing story creator, she’s also a master of creating real genuine characters. You cannot help but fall in love with them. Yes they make mistakes. Yes they screw up. But that is what makes them so tangible and human. I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT!!!

There are certain things that are unforgivable…
Falling for your brother’s best friend is one of them.
That isn’t the worst thing I’ve ever done, though.
Not even close.
Shame and guilt follow me everywhere.
Except when I’m with him.
With him, I can breathe again.
Smile again. Love again.
But he doesn’t know what I’ve done…
