Nine hundred thousand million starts.

Kat Tanner has a problem. She needs to get married asap to avoid disastrous consequences. Being a billionaire heiress is not an easy job and Kat is about to learn that the hard way.

The only person who can help her is Dan O’Malley.

Dan is the perfect candidate for the job, single, charming, trustworthy and is not even the least bit romantically interested in Kat.

What’ll happen when Kat realises that Dan is not as unaffected by her as she thought?

I cannot even begin to explain how much I loved this book and what special place it holds in my heart. I have been a ginormous Penny Reid fan since I read her first Knitting In The City book and that hasn’t changed one bit. In fact, my love for ger stories grows more and more everyday.

Kat, I think, is my most favourite Penny heroine. She might not have all of her life sorted but she had the strength to fight it out. I loved how innocent, self – aware and freaking smart she was. I think I have a teeny tiny maybe huge crush on her.

Dan oh my sweet dirty man! *heart eyes* I just adore this man with all my heart. I’ve always maintained that people who curse a lot and the most genuine people because they do not hesitate in expressing their thoughts. This hold true for Dan the Security Man. He is just so honest and caring and hot and lovely. He made my heart ache with the same shitty feeling he experienced. I am swooning while writing about Dan so you can imagine how much I truly love love him.

This story is unlike any I’ve ever read and as someone who has been waiting for Dan and Kat’s story since NSH I was so elated to have gotten a chance to experience this beautiful journey of two of my favourite characters.

5 Stars!

Synopsis:
There are three things you need to know about Kat Tanner (aka Kathleen Tyson. . . and yes, she is *that* Kathleen Tyson): 1) She’s determined to make good decisions, 2) She must get married ASAP, and 3) She knows how to knit.

Being a billionaire heiress isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. In fact, it sucks. Determined to live a quiet life, Kat Tanner changed her identity years ago and eschewed her family’s legacy. But now, Kat’s silver spoon past has finally caught up with her, and so have her youthful mistakes. To avoid imminent disaster, she must marry immediately; it is essential that the person she chooses have no romantic feelings for her whatsoever and be completely trustworthy.

Fortunately, she knows exactly who to ask. Dan O’Malley checks all the boxes: single, romantically indifferent to her, completely trustworthy. Sure, she might have a wee little crush on Dan the Security Man, but with clear rules, expectations, and a legally binding contract, Kat is certain she can make it through this debacle with her sanity–and heart–all in one piece.

Except, what happens when Dan O’Malley isn’t as indifferent–or as trustworthy–as she thought?
