hate, lust and power all things I love in a story

Excuse me while I try to formulate the words to type this review. Ronan and Camilla, talk about powerful characters. From page one I was hooked on these two. Their pure hatred and lust for each other was massive in a good way. When two very powerful people are together it can be a battle of who is the most powerful. In this case it was so much more. I could feel their emotions toward each other in this story. Them together was beautifully tragic in the best way possible.

Camilla is one fierce female. I loved that she didn’t submit to Roman but at the same time knew there was this pure, raw, attraction and lust toward him and wasn’t going to fight it off.

Ronan, is cold, calculating, precise and the self control when it comes to not only his life, but with Camilla as well, was impressive.

LP Lovell and Stevie J Cole never disappoint when they write a story together and this one was no different. The writing was beautiful. Some of the quotes from both Camilla and Ronan were haunting, and eerie, but in a brilliant way. I am obsessed with some of the quotes.

“I want to dance in the flames with him and feel my skin peel away in the heat. I want to walk the fine line where power, life and death all combine.”

The story line was brilliant and I didn’t want to put my kindle down. I needed to know what was going to happen next and wow, that ending had me yelling NOOOOOOOO!!!!

I seriously can not wait for the next book!

5 Stars!

Synopsis:
True power is never held by good men, only the most perfect of villains. And she and I are both villains…

I stole her from her precious cartel, and now she’s my pretty little pawn. She should fear me, but she doesn’t. I’ll have to teach her…

I put a gun to her head and she holds a knife to my throat. Round and round we go, inviting the sickness that consumes us both. We play our twisted game with sweet threats and cruel promises, neither backing down. I crave her madness in the most depraved ways.

Only a woman as ruthless as Camilla could ever make me weak, and she’d love to watch me crumble.

Two very bad people who want very bad things are never safe together.

Some love stories have no heroes.
