Zara’s nights of fun with the sexy red haired stranger were supposed to be just that. No last names. No personal details. Just fun. No one in her small town was going to know about her tiny non-affair and as soon as he left, everything would be like it always was. Oh how wrong she was!

Dave Beringer has never been able to forget the time he spent with his dark haired ferocious beauty. She was what he needed at that time but that doesn’t mean anytime his mind wanders it doesn’t go straight back to thoughts of her. Two years later he is back in the same town unaware of the surprise that’ll rock his World.

I am and always will be a hardcore Sarina Bowen fan. Her books amaze and stump me and this story was no different.

I loved Zara’s character. She was strong, caring and her sarcastic self made my heart happy. She has just such a likeable personality and 10/10 I would recommend being bffs with her. Her development from a surly woman to a loving, caring and absolute gem of a mother was glorious. Characters like hers aren’t written often.

Dave oh my Dave!!! *heart eyes* THIS GUY IS THE BOMB!!! Okay so he is not perfect. He is afraid of little babies and dogs but he is absolutely goddamn real. I adore the way he fell in love with his kid and I love the fact that it wasn’t instant and that it took time and work and patience. My ovaries had a field trip reading about Dave’s amazingness. I can’t even with this man!! *sigh*

This was such a sweet and heart warming story. I WANT MORE!!!

5 Stars!

Synopsis:
No last names. No life stories. Those were the rules.

Once upon a time a cocky, copper-haired tourist sauntered into Zara’s bar. And even though she knew better, Zara indulged in a cure for the small-town blues. It was supposed to be an uncomplicated fling—a few sizzling weeks before he went back to his life, and she moved on.

Until an accidental pregnancy changed her life.

Two years later, she’s made peace with the notion that Dave No-Last-Name will never be found. Until one summer day when he walks into her coffee shop, leveling her with the same hot smile that always renders her defenseless.

Dave Beringer has never forgotten the intense month he spent with prickly Zara. Their nights together were the first true intimacy he’d ever experienced. But the discovery of his child is the shock of a lifetime, and his ugly past puts relationships and family out of reach.

Or does it? Vermont’s countryside has a way of nurturing even tortured souls. The fields and the orchards—and hard won love—are Bountiful.
