Felicity has been running away for a long time. She ran away from the one place she called home to get away from her drug addict ex-boyfriend, Wes and Silas, possibly the only man she has ever loved. Wes’s death makes her realise that she has only ever belonged in Prescott. But coming back to a place where she scorned her friends and loved ones wouldn’t be easy. She has a long list to amends that she needs to make and on top of the list is Silas, the man who has owned her heart for sixteen years.
Silas has been in love with Felicity his entire life even when she broke his heart and went away without any explanation. Now she is back for good and Silas is not going to let her get away without giving their relationship a shot. He believes they can make it. All they need to do is heal past wounds and then they can finally have the love they were destined for.
OH MY GOD!! I can’t even with this story, y’all. I sat down with this book and finished it in three hours. I didn’t move to even eat or drink. I was so engrossed in this epic love story that I lost track of everything and my heart couldn’t be more happy.
Silas is quite possibly the most swoon worthy cowboy EVER. When he came out in leather chaps and a cowboy hat? I WAS DONE FOR!!! So so hot! *heart eyes* I loved how he held out for the love of his life and was ready to do anything for her. He was such a great stand up guy and just AHHH I LOVE HIM SO MUCH. It really helps that he was a growly alpha who made my pulse race like mad.
Felicity is my homie, y’all!! She is sassy and witty and God I think I love her. She had such a strong personality that I couldn’t help but be drawn to her. I am so in awe of the fact that she owned up to all her mistakes and had the courage to apologize. I’m pretty sure she is one of my all time favourite female leads.
Devney Perry is becoming my new favourite! I love her swoon worthy stories. Her writing style is amazing and I love all the drama she adds. It’s a glorious thing to experience and I am so hyped for more stories from her.

Life on his ranch could be their future. If they can overcome their past.
Felicity’s life story reads like the script to a bad soap opera. Girl’s high-school boyfriend becomes a drug addict. Girl falls for boyfriend’s best friend. Girl leaves them both behind only to return home years later for murdered ex-boyfriend’s funeral. Now she’s back home in Montana, ready to start fresh. She’s got a long list of amends to make and relationships to rebuild, including one with the man who has owned her heart for sixteen years.
Silas doesn’t need much. He’s got a great horse, close friends and the Lucky Heart ranch, but something has always been missing. He’s not an idiot. He knows the missing piece is Felicity. And now that she’s returned to Prescott, he’s got a second chance to win her heart. This time, the only thing standing in his way is history. Drudging up the past is going to be about as painful as playing tug of war with barbed wire. But if they can heal old wounds, he’ll get the girl he should have had all along.
