Beneath the Truth by Meghan March
Series: Beneath, book 7
Publisher: Red Dress Press
Publication Date: August 8, 2017
Rating: ★★★★✰

Rhett could never touch his best friend’s sister but he is done trying to deny how he feels about her. Ariel has always wanted Rhett, but never thought that could be a possibility until they both end up back at home.

I loved that it wasn’t just a love story, there was suspense and solving things that weren’t adding up. The story had tender moments and heart pounding moments.

Rhett and Ariel were good for each other, they had great chemistry and let’s not forget about the sexiness. Meghan March knows how to write some hot scenes.

4 Stars!

Synopsis:
From USA Today bestselling author Meghan March comes the final sexy standalone set in the Beneath world of New Orleans.

I used to believe there were lines in life you don’t cross.
Don’t lie. Don’t cheat. Don’t steal.
Until I learned people don’t always practice what they preach.
I turned in my badge and gun and walked away from everything.
Then I got the call no one wants, and I’m back in New Orleans.
What I don’t expect is for her to be here too.
Another line you don’t cross?
Don’t touch your best friend’s little sister.
She’s always been off-limits.
Too bad I don’t follow the rules anymore.

***May absolutely be read as a standalone!***
