Oh how I’ve missed Nathan and his dirty mouth

In Breach (Book 1) we got to read everything from Delilah’s POV, now it’s time for Nathan’s POV in Breached.

I am so glad we got to see everything Nathan was thinking and feeling. Reading his inter turmoil was sad. His demons could never outweigh his need for her.

I can’t write a review about Nathan Thorne with out talking about his dirty mouth. Nathan is like one of the OG’s of dirty mouths in a book boyfriend. That’s right, I just referred to him as an Original Gangster. The words that come out of his mouth and the stuff he does to Delilah is beyond hot!

I am just so happy to get into Nathan’s head and it was, sad, tragic, and beautiful all at the same time.

4 stars!

Synopsis:
My life was ash. Burned to the ground. Razed with no chance of rebuilding.

Empty.

Alone.

Just as I had to be.

No one else was going to get hurt because of me. No more deaths.

For years I’ve secluded myself, stayed in the darkness, and tried to melt into the background. Hiding in plain sight.

Taking a new job, working in close confines with a new partner, is risky, and I thought I was up to the task. So I hide behind a mask of my own making, a façade for the world.

The problem is, I can’t stop thinking about my new partner. I hate her, but I crave her like she’s the most intoxicating thing I’ve ever encountered.

It’s maddening, but I need to stay away. I have to stay away.

I can’t love anyone ever again.
