Review: BAD PENNY by Staci Hart

I mean HOLY MOTHER OF GOD BODIE!!!!

Penny has never been serious about relationships and she has no plans to ever be. Her life turns upside down when Bodie comes flashing in his sexy muscles and sinful body. Now, Penny is feeling everything she promised herself to never even think of. Can she finally let go and accept Bodie in her life?

I CAN”T EVEN Y’ALL! I am so in love with this book that I can’t do anything except laugh/cry and squeal. The story was so good. SO DARN GOOD. I think this is one of the sweetest, funniest and sexiest love story by Staci.

Penny might be my favourite protagonist EVER. She is bold, funny, outspoken, considerate and just so pure. She is who I see as a model modern woman. GOD I wanna be best friends with her. I know the title says Bad Penny but she is just so good and pure and I love her like my own.

Oh Lord I can’t even think of Bodie without smiling or giggling. How is he so hot?? I love love nerdy guys and Bodie’s jokes made me wanna rub myself on him.

5 stars!

Synopsis:
Nothing good comes after the third date.

See, date three is the crucial point when things get real, which is exactly why I bounce out the door, twiddling my fingers at whatever poor boy I’ve left behind. Because if I stick around, one of three things will happen: he’ll profess his undying love, he gets weird and stalky, or I’ll go crazy. Like, Sid and Nancy crazy. Like, chase-him-through-the-streets-begging-him-to-love-me crazy.

Seriously, it’s better for everyone this way.

So when I meet Bodie, I figure it’ll be the same as it ever was. It doesn’t matter that he doesn’t put a single string on me. Doesn’t matter that he’s funny and smart and jacked and can play my body like a grand piano. Because even though I’m built for love, love has only carved me up like a Christmas ham.

Resistance is something I can only hang on to for so long, and he has persistence in spades. But my heart isn’t as safe as I want to believe, and neither is his. And the second I ignore my cardinal rule is the second I stand to lose him forever.
