I’m going to start off by saying I’m not a dark romance reader. I’m just not. I can count the number of dark romance books I’ve read on one hand. No joke. It’s very rare that I’ll get the urge to read one. But when I read the synopsis for The Bad Guy (and I’ve read a few of Celia’s previous books), I just had to step out of my comfort zone and give this book a chance. And boy, am I ever grateful that I did.
The Bad Guy is one of those books that gets inside your head from the very beginning, and challenges your mind. It weaves so intricately around your thoughts that it provokes you to start thinking with your heart instead. The characters have a complex and undoubtedly passionate connection that leaves tingles throughout your body.

You’re introduced to Sebastian, a rich and utterly handsome CEO that possesses a hidden darkness inside. His mysterious charisma entices the reader into his world – like a burning flame, you’re tempted to get close to his heat. And Camille is just as drawn to him. Lust and fascination overtakes her, but she quickly realizes Sebastian is not the man she thought he was.

I don’t want to give away too much and spoil it for readers, as I think it’s the type of book you just have to dive head first into. It’s an intense and compelling story that takes infatuation to an extreme level, and delves deep into the world of emotions, desperation, and unrestricted love.
